Mission Statement (2024)
The Providence Associates are a community of individuals inspired by the Charism, Spirituality and Mission of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul.
We are called to continue their legacy of compassionate service and advocacy for all of creation, by promoting justice, peace, hope and healing in our families, communities and society. Trusting in Providence and rooted in honesty, integrity and inclusivity, we are dedicated to cultivating authentic and respectful relationships.
Directional Statement (2024)
As Providence Associates, we will incorporate into our daily lives the legacy we have been given by the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul.
We commit to:
- engage in opportunities for spiritual growth and personal development through education, reflection and shared experiences
- participate in social justice advocacy and mobilize efforts to effect positive change
- create an environment where diversity is celebrated and all individuals feel welcomed and valued
- collaborate with like-minded organizations and individuals who share our vision and values
- effectively utilize the gifts, talents, and abilities of all associates in active roles that contribute to the work of the organization
- become a visible presence of compassion and service in our communities
