Spirituality and Manner of Relating

While the spirituality of the Providence Associates is reflective of the spirituality of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul, we are an open and evolving community. Through contemplation, respectful listening, and compassion, we grow in spiritual intimacy.

Nourished by these life-giving relationships, we serve with compassion, trust in Providence, and walk in hope. We also inspire and support personal growth and communal leadership. Our spirituality enables each of us to be present to the needs of our neighbours and of the world.

In a society in which spirituality is under-valued, we strive to be liminal edge-walkers who do our part to move the planet and its people toward wholeness.
